Part-Time Associate Therapist (AMFT or ACSW)

Camphor Tree Healing Collective | East Bay, CA

Camphor Tree Healing Collective is seeking a part-time pre-licensed clinician (AMFT or ACSW) to join our East Bay-based private practice. This position is ideal for clinicians interested in deepening their clinical skills within a relational, attachment-based, somatic, and anti-oppressive framework.

Founded and supervised by Jennifer Chen Speckman, LCSW, Camphor Tree Healing Collective offers high-quality training, clinical mentorship, and support for therapists looking to grow thoughtfully and sustainably in private practice

What You'll Do

Provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families using relational, holistic, attachment-based, and somatic approaches. Clinicians will have the opportunity to develop depth across a wide range of clinical presentations while building sustainable private practice skills.

Clinical Areas of Focus May Include:

  • Trauma and complex trauma

  • Anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and mood disorders

  • Grief and life transitions

  • Neurodivergent populations

  • Couples therapy

  • Child, adolescent, and family therapy

  • Developmental and lifespan perspectives

  • Anti-oppression and social justice-informed treatment

Position Details

  • Part-time position (18–25 hours per week)

  • Preferred In-person availability on Mondays and Fridays

  • Weekly supervision participation required

  • Primarily in-person services with potential hybrid flexibility

  • W-2 employee position

  • Compensation: $55–$95/hour for clinical and administrative work, depending on experience, client population, and caseload

  • Monthly ICHRA (Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement) stipend available for clinicians maintaining 20 client sessions per week

Qualifications

  • Registered AMFT or ACSW in good standing with the BBS

  • Current NPI number and professional liability insurance

  • Commitment to remaining with the practice for 1–2 years

  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation, licensure hours, and payroll records

  • Strong commitment to ethical and legal standards of practice

  • Openness to engaging in conversations about race, identity, equity, and social justice

  • Desire to learn, grow, and actively engage in supervision and consultation
